Cedar
Mountain - East Fork Snowmobiling Complex
The Cedar Mountain/East Fork Snowmobile Complex
provides snowmobilers with extensive trails in southern Utah's famous
color country. Within four hours of Las Vegas and Salt Lake City and just
east of Cedar City, this complex is situated on the plateau area of
southern Utah.
Ample snow on high mountain trails, winter access to
some of western American's most unique scenery, and overnight
accommodations make this one of Utah's most appealing snowmobile areas.
The East Fork trail originates from Ruby's Inn. The
20 mile groomed trail is a winter wonderland contrasted by red cliffs and
giant Ponderosa pines. From lofty mountain overviews, you can see the snow
covered delicately carved spires of Bryce Canyon National Park.
The complex also includes trails leading to the
geologic spectacle of Cedar Breaks National Monument. Millions of years of
uplift and erosion carved this enormous amphitheater which early Indians
called "The Circle of Painted Cliffs."
Access to this complex is available at Brian Head,
Duck Creek, Strawberry, Navajo, Midway and Ruby's Inn trailheads.
