Deer Valley Resort

The charm and solitude of Deer Valley's secluded mountain setting is found just 36 miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport. Direct flights from most major cities enable you to leave home in the morning and ski Deer Valley the same afternoon. Resort staff has been busy since last ski season ended, investing $8 million in improvements for the upcoming winter season. Improvements include the addition of two new chairlifts and the creation of two new intermediate ski runs, all in the Flagstaff area.

Additional glade skiing - one of Deer Valley's best-kept secrets - has been added to both the Empire Canyon and Flagstaff areas of the mountain. We have also expanded the popular Fireside Dining at Empire Canyon Lodge to two nights a week, on both Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Another exciting mountain improvement is the addition of the Tricks n' Turns (TNT) Park. Featuring the latest in family-oriented fun, the TNT Park located off the Little Chief chairlift in Empire Canyon will feature the new Ore Cart Rails along with the already existing Skier Cross course.

Deer Valley is thrilled to announce a brand new ski training camp this season, hosted by American Olympic medal winners, brothers Steve and Phil Mahre. The camps provide fundamentals to all ability levels and include six hours of daily instruction by Deer Valley's top Ski Instructors, evening sessions, races, video and other amenities.

Exceptional customer service, consistent quality and attention to every detail are all part of the Deer Valley experience.
