Essential Oils can be used in many
outdoor applications such as burns, sunburns, rashes, bug bites,

also be used as a disinfectant, and a bug repellent. Essential
Oils can be used on people of all ages, without the worries
and other side effects caused by other chemical based products. Essential

use Essential Oils in the Outdoors?

Oil has many uses. Most of us that adventure
in the outdoors cannot prepare for everything that

example can relief a sunburn, rashes, help relief a

Backpacking With

part of every backpackers assortment of gear.

again have many uses. Just one 15ml bottle of
TerraShield replaces a large heavy canister of bug
repellent. TerraShield contains no DEET and it
is safe on all ages including your pets. A few
drops of lemon oil can be used to freshen the water
in your water bladder and at the same time provide
you with a boost of energy. One drop of Peppermint
Oil in your water can relieve an upset stomach and
help you cool off on a hot day.

survival kit should contain essential oils.
When your in a survival situation or emergency where
you cannot run to your local market to buy medicines,
essential oils are a must. Melaleuca for
example is an analgesic, antibacterial, antibiotic,
antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antiviral
and a disinfectant. It is excellent to fight
off infections of all kinds. Melaleuca has
been used for centuries by the Aborigines to heal
cuts, wounds and skin infections.
