Located 29 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport, Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort is North America's most accessible year-round resort. Snowbird averages 500 inches of "The Greatest Snow on Earth" and Utah's longest ski and snowboard season. Snowbird lodging includes four hotel and condominium facilities with 10 restaurants, night skiing and snowboarding, children's programs, snowmobile tours, tubing, ice skating, swimming pools, live music, movies and more.

The Alta Snowbird pass, providing skiers 4,700 acres of breathtaking terrain and powder skiing, continues for the 2003-04 season with discounts on multi-day ticket purchases (Alta is open to skiers only).

Snowbird's luxurious Cliff Spa high atop the Cliff Lodge offers a full complement of treatments including hot stone massage, high altitude massage, aromatherapy as well as yoga and fitness classes.

Year Round Activities

As incomparable as the skiing is, it still is only part of the wide range of Snowbird's year-round offerings. Check out the new Alpine Slide or try horse-back riding, ATV tours, hiking, biking or alpine scootering, swimming, tennis or nearby golf. In spring, skiing and golfing in the same day is a reality at the Bird. Or, catch some rays on the pool deck of any of the lodges, visit the spa, sample spectacular summer patio dining or simply relax. Our Activity Center plans plenty of sensational group events, or offers advice and trail maps if you want an adventure all your own. Listen to live music at the annual Jazz & Blues Festival. Savor the flavors, music and handicraft shopping at the annual Oktoberfest celebration, weekends from Labor Day through mid-October. Enjoy our famed Utah Symphony performances. When it comes to premier lodging, recreation, events, festivals, dining and shopping, Snowbird is always in season. To view one of Snowbirds many beautiful hiking trails click here.
